Why Lakeland Preschool Academy
- Highly trained staff: We currently have two staff members who have earned BA's in Elementary Education, one staff member with a BA in a non-education related field, one staff member who will earn her BA in Childcare Management in the Fall of 2010, two staff members with Director-level credentials, several staff members who have earned their CDA, and additonal staff members who are in the process of obtaining the CDA credentials.
- Security Cameras in room: We are one of the few schools that have cameras in every room of our center. Parents have the option to purchase weekly access into their child's room using a password protected internet site. Additionally, all parents are given a four digit code to use on the keypad outside the front door.
- High quality education: Our teachers choose from a number of age appropriate but challenging curriculums. We currently use Funshine Express, High Reach and Mother Goose curriculum.
- Our program tailored to each age group: We tailor the curriculum based on the age group of a child. Our teachers are trained to look for several developmental milestones to check the progress of the child
- Cleanliness: We pride ourselves on the appearance of our school. Our teachers take the opportunity several times per day to sanitize and straighten up. It's important to note that many of our teachers have children of their own in our center.

Lakeland Preschool Academy is a full-day child care center with early childhood programs for infants through school-readiness age children serving families in the Lakeland area. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of children by providing high quality programs for young children and support for their families. Our unique curriculum is based around the simple idea that all children are smart in their own ways. So our teachers value the uniqueness in each child. They encourage children to explore their own strengths, and progress at their own pace, so they're proud, not frustrated.
